This powerful tool floats on the AutoCAD screen for quick access and can be minimized with a single click! Layer Lexicon is a dictionary for layers, that can be configured to contain your own groups of layer definitions to be used by all who have access to the folder where they're stored.
Users can double click on a layer definition and select the object(s) they wish to be on that layer, or select a layer and set it to be current. The layer groups are password protected so that CAD Managers have complete control over the definitions that are added, and when added they are immediately accessible by other users. Webpage (HTML) format layer inventories can be generated with the click of a button, and these reports can be sent to consultants who may be unfamiliar with your layer standards. |
